You’ve done your Agile training and then…?

‘Leightweight simple and easy to understand,’ is how Scrum is written. Yet enthusiastic participants of our training courses often ask if we can help them in their practice. Not surprisingly, because you are enthusiastic about the Agile skills you have learned, but of course you also want to put them into practice with the entire team. We are of course happy to support, substantiate and motivate this. And how? Especially with pragmatic in-company coaching. You change while you are busy with your daily work. With us, change means doing things differently. With the emphasis on doing. Just think for a moment and then do a lot and keep trying.

With coaching on the job, you achieve:

  • That you accelerate Scrum adoption. After all, you then don’t have to invent all the best practices yourself. We bring them to you. Of course, this is also partly included in our training courses, but demonstrating and doing it together greatly accelerates doing it yourself.
  • Together with your team(s) and our coaches, you will quickly create an internal Agile environment. Important, because Scrumming will only work when the organization and the environment of Scrum teams also understand and facilitate Agile.

A little stuck with Agile working?

‘We once started working Agile, but I now notice that we are getting pretty stuck with the team. Can’t you freshen things up a bit?’ A question that has regularly come up in the past 10 years. Sometimes the composition of the team changes and explicit knowledge of Agile is lost. Sometimes an organization grows and needs a knowledge boost. Then we go back to basics and refurbish the team’s way of working together. That way there is again oil between the wheels and that moves smoothly.

The magic mix of training and coaching

That combination is quite normal for all of Scrum Academy’s trainers and coaches (and meanwhile for a lot of clients). Yet the mix of training and coaching on the job still stands out. In that mix, we always provide fresh methods, the latest insights and real (own) cases from the field. This allows us to easily apply Scrum and Agile in many different contexts, for example: developing digital tools; marketing campaigns; product development; exhibitions; complex policy documents and organizing events. You name it and we have been there with our clients and participants.

The qualities of a Scrum Academy Agile Coach & Trainer

  • Has a whole bucket of experience and brings a backpack full of best practices;
  • Switches from executive to team level and connects layers in the organization;
  • Always listens, but also accelerates so that acceleration occurs;
  • Applies theory to your practice. Not a flat theoretical story, but a practical reality;
  • Makes complex issues very actionable, immediately applicable without simplifying or flattening things.
