In this article, we look at useful tools for Agile meetings.

Meetings

If you do distributed work, you also want to be able to meet occasionally. Then you need a meeting tool, with high quality video and audio, stability, screen sharing and that is easy to use.

Zoom

Zoom is an incredibly easy tool to use. You have high quality video and audio, can chat and screen share. What’s nice is that you can change your background. Instead of your bed in the background a bunch of palm trees. A lot more attractive right? Communication is encrypted, no need to worry about that. Zoom is free to use, but if more than 2 people join a meeting, a 40-minute time limit is built in. There are also paid subscriptions.

Skype

Old familiar Skype is still a great option. HD audio and video, screen sharing, chat and all encrypted. Totally free, but video chat with a group is limited to 10 people. Nowadays Skype is a part of Microsoft.

Cisco Webex

Market leader Webex offers a lot of functionality, although the free version is limited to 3 participants in your meeting. On top of all the basic functionality, Webex also allows you to sketch on a whiteboard.
