During the summer vacations we give some extra trainings especially for the “stay at home” students. Would you like to be trained as Product Owner during the summer vacations? Then come to our Summer course Product Owner training! The content of the training is the same but it’s a bit more summery and the ideal time to stop and develop yourself as many of your colleagues are on vacation.
You will learn how to get the most out of Scrum by inspiring your team and driving content. Many people see this as the most challenging role in Agile & Scrum. In this training from Scrum Academy, you will learn how to best fulfill this role. The material is sufficient to earn a PSPO certificate.
The Product Owner training consists of 30% theory and 70% practice. In small groups, you practice the theory with practical situations. You learn to recognize and avoid pitfalls. There is also sufficient time to discuss your own daily practice. Together with colleagues, you deepen the role of Product Owner. You learn not only from skilled trainers from the field but also from each other.
The training lasts two days and has a maximum of 16 participants. After participating you will receive a certificate from Scrum Academy. After the training, you will want to be full of energy to get started yourself.
As a Product Owner, you represent the business. You are responsible for delivering customer value with your team, within the context of your organization. We will examine your role and responsibilities in every step of the Scrum framework. We focus on stakeholder management, backlog refinement, sprint planning, and sprint reviews.
You learn how to keep the team up to speed, involve all stakeholders and also keep a grip on the project. You develop skills to create a tight backlog that creates the maximum business value (return on investment, also known as ROI).
In the theoretical part, you will learn everything you need to obtain an official Professional Product Owner (PSPO) certification online.
The course is not only suitable for a Product Owner in marketing, communications and policy. It is also suitable for technical projects and online.

Een levendige en inspirerende Product Owner training door Gert‑Jan Danenberg (Scrumacademy). Veel inhoud in twee dagen, maar dankzij de sterke methodiek en pakkende oefeningen blijft er verrassend veel hangen. De fijne locatie en de goede verzorging door de gastvrouw maakten het helemaal af.
Gert-Jan is echt een uitstekende trainer, Agile en Scrum is leuke materie, de scrumacademy methode om het aan te leren was leuk, leerzaam en echt de moeite waard. Het aantal cursussen en workshops dat ik heb gedaan tot op heden is onwijs veel hoop (Prince2, Lean, MSP, TOGAF, Lean Six Sigma, etc) . Dit is zeker top 3 van wat ik gevolgd heb, qua aanbieder.
Ik heb een zeer waardevolle ervaring gehad tijdens de product owner training van Scrum Academy. De training was zowel leerzaam en inspirerend als prettig interactief opgezet.
