Speaking of the latter, some are Scrum Master, others are Product Owner. They&#8217;ve probably taken a cool training course and been introduced to exactly what that role entails. But what are the differences between these trainings? And what do you learn in which training? Who is the Scrum Master and who is the Product Owner?   <\/p>\n\n<p><strong>Scrum Master<\/strong> is facilitator and the connector between the Product Owner and the Development Team. Important words for the Scrum Master are: quality, efficiency and a smoothly running system. <\/p>\n\n<p><strong>Product Owner<\/strong> is value creator and the person with vision. He or she translates customer requirements and is responsible for the product backlog. Every Scrum team has a Scrum Master and a Product Owner in its ranks. The Product Owner gives a lot of input on the &#8220;why&#8221; of the work. This motivates tremendously. And the Scrum Master facilitates that they can do that same work &#8211; with the &#8216;why&#8217; in mind &#8211; well. The interplay in this is important because it creates efficient flow and value.       <\/p>\n\n<p>Most important? Don&#8217;t forget the essence of Agile working. This is about delivering value for customers. But also about adapting, improving, changing and having conversations with each other. From whatever role you do this, it doesn&#8217;t matter. The most important goal: achieving the best results for customers.       <\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Difference between the two trainings<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n<p>Of course, the roles have similarities, overlap and need each other. Yet you learn very different things during these two trainings. We have summarized in a table the differences between the Scrum Master training and Product Owner training.  <\/p>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-table\"><table><tbody><tr><td><\/td><td><strong>Scrum Master Training<\/strong><\/td><td><strong>Product Owner training<\/strong><\/td><\/tr><tr><td><em>Core of the role<\/em><\/td><td>You will learn how teams with constructive feedback adapt quickly to become a top fit team.<\/td><td>You will learn how to get products, services and services to market as quickly as possible and what does and does not work based on customer behavior.<\/td><\/tr><tr><td><em>Skills<\/em><\/td><td>&#8211; servant leadership;<br\/>&#8211; problem solving;<br\/>&#8211; giving feedback.<\/td><td>&#8211; effective decision-making;<br\/>&#8211; assurance of product quality;<br\/>&#8211; value to customer.<\/td><\/tr><tr><td><em>Position in Scrum Framework<\/em><\/td><td>You learn to facilitate the Scrum Framework. A Scrum Team costs money. Smooth collaboration delivers even more value. You coach the Product Owner, the Development Team and the organization so they deliver ASAP and are worth their money.   <\/td><td>You will learn how to liaise with stakeholders. You will also keep an eye on which developments are important for the product. Because a Scrum Team costs money and you want ROI from that.
